Become a Member!
Becoming a Member of The Friends of Chippewa Park shows that you’re a committed member of our Thunder Bay community. With your membership you are preserving over 100 years of history and memories, maintaining a family park for our current and future generations and improving our quality of life by connecting to our local green spaces - Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant. Your contribution goes a long way!
Becoming a member also provides you with the opportunity to volunteer out at Chippewa Park! Throughout the year there are occasions when your help would be much appreciated. For example, working on Family Festival, selling raffle tickets as a fundraiser for The Friends of Chippewa Park, planning events or activities, or planting trees!
Join the Friends of Chippewa Park by becoming a member or purchasing your commemorative plaque to be hung in the main pavilion. The Friends of Chippewa Park have worked extremely hard to restore Chippewa Park to the historically beautiful recreation park it once was. They have successfully raised and invested over $10 million in value to enhance and rejuvenate the park. This is your opportunity to join this cause by becoming a member or purchasing a Buy-A-Board. Please see the attached documents below for more details.
